Telpro Companies was established in 1998 to manufacture mixed metal oxide and titanium anodes for the cathodic protection industry. Since then the products have been designed, manufactured and supplied worldwide, across a wide range of clients and markets.
Manufacturing has always been in the United States. Domestic production is what makes short lead times and flexible delivery schedules possible, and it means the coating process and the testing that verifies it happen under one roof.
Part of Deepwater Corrosion Services
In 2026 Telpro joined Deepwater Corrosion Services, and manufacturing moved into Deepwater's main production facility in Houston. Telpro Anodes is now a trade name used by Deepwater for its MMO anode range.
For a specifier that matters in one practical way. The anodes now sit alongside CP design, corrosion modelling and inspection, so if the design is not finished there is somewhere to take it.

Quality you can actually verify
Anyone can claim a design life. The difference is whether they can show you the evidence, and whether the testing happened before the anode left the building.
The Coating
Iridium and tantalum mixed metal oxide on titanium to ASTM B338, B265 or B863 depending on the form. Extremely low consumption rate, so the substrate stays constant across the design life.
The Testing
X-ray fluorescence spectrometry on coating loading and adhesion. Anode to cable seals resin filled and helium leak tested. Resistance and continuity checked on every assembly.
The Evidence
Accelerated life testing by an independent laboratory, not an in-house claim. A copy of the test report is available on request. Ask for it, and ask our competitors for theirs.
